Keep Saturday, June 9th open on your calendar. At 8:00am, the cities of Maywood, Bell, Cudahy, and South Gate will be linked together for a walk, run or bike along the Los Angeles River. This healthy living event will begin at the Maywood Riverfront Park and continue to the new High School #9 in South Gate. Bennett Kayser, our school board representative, is the sponsor of this event. Registration begins at 7:00am at the Maywood Riverfront Park. Health Fair on site, and the new HS in South Gate will be open for a tour. For more info, contact (213) 241-5555 or maria.g.ponce@lausd.net or see Mr. Janssen in the Deans Office.
